Amar Banerjee is currently a PhD student at IIIT Hyderabad’s Software Engineering Research Center under the guidance of Prof. Venkatesh Choppella. His research focuses on semantics, artificial intelligence, and the automation of software generation. Currently working with Phillips, he leads the initiatives in AI for mobile surgery, and his past projects have included research and product design in AI, Robotics and IoT at Siemens and TCS Research. Amar’s research interests include knowledge graphs, semantics, neural networks, medical image processing, human-machine collaboration and cognitive AI. He has published multiple patents and publications as contributions to the scientific community.
