Prof. Veera Prakash Yalla has joined Technology Transfer Office (TTO) and Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) as Professor of Practice. His research interests are in New incubations and innovations. Prof. Yalla received his B.Tech from SVU College of Engineering, Tirupati. Prof. Prakash heads the technology transfer office and product labs, and runs the EIR (Entrepreneur in Residence Program) to pre-incubate startups. He teaches Technology Product Entrepreneurship & Product Management at the institute.
Prior to joining IIITH he was the investor and founding member of Wooqer a Bangalore based startup; Vice President, R&D, Acme Telepower; Director, Research and Technology at Honeywell India , Bangalore where he had set up the research labs and innovation system. He had also worked on open innovation and India market innovation programs. His career started as an Electronics engineer for the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) program at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Hyderabad.
