Prof. Y. Raghu Reddy, Head of the Software Engineering Research Center (SERC), IIIT Hyderabad, co-authored a research paper titled “VRSpecML: A Profile for Realizing Domain-Specific Virtual Reality Systems,” presented at MODELS 2026 – the International Conference on Model Driven Engineering Languages and Systems, held in Málaga, Spain, from 4–9 October 2026.
The paper, co-authored with Bavya Sri Kilari and Sai Anirudh Karre, was presented on 8 October 2026 in the New Ideas and Emerging Results (NIER) track.
The research introduces VRSpecML, a model-driven approach to specifying and validating domain-specific Virtual Reality (VR) systems. It supports structured modelling of domain-specific requirements and automated validation, helping improve the consistency and reliability of VR application development.
