Biography

Mohit Kumar Singh is a Computer Science and Engineering undergraduate at IIIT Hyderabad, interested in Human-Computer Interaction and Human-Centered Design. He views software engineering as more than solving technical problems—it's about designing systems that align with how people actually use them. His focus is on usability, accessibility, and building applications that fit real-world workflows.

He has worked on several projects involving full-stack development, IoT systems, and campus-wide tools, often taking responsibility for frontend design and user experience. These include the MyIIIT app revamp, an intra-campus service platform, and the college’s sports council website. Across these, he’s aimed to make systems that are not just functional but intuitive and practical.

At SERC, he’s looking to contribute to research that connects user needs with system design, especially through field studies, iterative prototyping, and real-world validation.
